come up with several ways of documenting the passage of time.
because this exploration involved the location I decided that perhaps my cat would be the best variable to measure a passage of time. she is fairly random and seems to demand a lot of attention. because of her presence i was inspired to create a system based on her actions. i wanted for it to be something random, yet constant in its availability. i was looking for a variable that she would decide that would not last for set periods of time and would be ever changing in their relation to our standard definition of time. it wasn't hard for her to again help me with the next decision. at this stage i only have various photos to help show the variable but i hope to create a design to relate to the toy that my cat is playing with. time would be divided into no toys. weird orange mouse. white mouse. green ball. and multicolored ball.
